Once upon a time between the beautiful arch from 1000 and the city gate of Porta Castiglione, an ice cream shop which changed the way we think about “the sweet and fresh delight” opened in Bologna. Between it’s walls someone began to explain how delicious ice-cream, with natural ingredients and much passion, could be created. Today that very product is a reality and it is still Marina and Giacomo who explain why this, their dream, has contributed to Bologna’s reputation as ‘the ice-cream capital.’
